Rappers Drake and Kendrick Lamar are feuding — to the point that police were asked about it after a security guard was shot outside Drake’s Toronto mansion on Tuesday. It wasn’t always this way. Over a decade ago, the pair collaborated, like on Drake’s 2011 track “Buried Alive Interlude" and Lamar’s 2012 release “Poetic Justice." On Big Sean's 2013 track “Control,” Lamar called out Drake among other rappers. In 2023, J. Cole reignited the beef on “First Person Shooter” with Drake, by suggesting the three were the greatest MCs. In late March, Lamar hit back on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That." Ever since, Lamar and Drake have been dropping diss tracks to each other.
